Rabbi Nachman of breslov
composed this book when he was 6 years old, listing the value and preciousness of every good character trait contrasted with the great spiritual damage of each negative trait.
The book is ordered alphabetically and composed of two parts:
the first part was composed in the Rebbe's youth, as said, to serve as a personal reminder list, and the second part contains the perceptions he reached in his mature greatness.
These latter are high perceptions beyond human grasp.
Rebbe Nachman said:
"This book made me a Jew."
